Three weeks after meeting her little one, I headed back to Gaby's home in the Penrith area for the second half of her journey, her fourth trimester session.
When I arrived, there were renos happening, family were over, and Gaby was still getting ready. Honestly? It was perfect. This is exactly what these sessions are all about! Capturing real life, just as it is. We moved through feeding, nappy changes, and those sleepy newborn cuddles, all the little moments that feel so normal in the day but disappear so quickly.
Gaby told me afterwards that at the time, she felt like a mess, but looking back on these photos now, she's so grateful she has them. That's the whole reason I do this.
